            Mailing Timeline for Party Invitations

            Allow for at least a week for mailing time. Possible postage mistakes, getting lost in the mail or return addresses are all problems that we must face when using the postal service, so make sure you allow time for such problems. The change in postage will be the same as for wedding invitations. Square invitations will require more postage as well as any invitation with heavier card stock or extra embellishments.
            Formal Party Invitations
            Formal Invitations should be purchased 2-3 months before the event, and should be mailed out 6 weeks prior.
            Casual Party Invitations
            Casual Invitations should be purchased 4-6 weeks before the event, and should be mailed out 2-3 weeks prior.
