3 Marthas Applique and Plush Baby Gifts at InvitationBox.com
3 Marthas was founded in 1988 by Martha Ann Huey Sloan. The company was named for her Great Aunt Martha Mai, her mother Martha and of course herself, the 3 Marthas. The company was bought in 1994 by Rebecca Deacon Addington. It was a small company with big potential that suited her interests perfectly. She loved the hand-made charm of the line as well as its classic feel. Years later, she is proud to say that 3 Marthas has grown into being a line that is loved by many who appreciate their incredible quality, delightful design, and their knack for adding their own special twist to each item they make.
The materials used by 3 Marthas are simply superior - thick 100% cotton terry for their towels and bibs, double-napped 100% cotton flannel for their blankets, and extra thick 100% cotton burp pads with an 8 ply center for extra absorbency! They even only use the finest trimmings - high thread count ginghams, imported grosgrain ribbons, fabulous waffle pique and more.
Besides appreciating 3 Marthas quality, customers love the original designs. They have become known for their beautiful appliques - they take the art of applique and tweak it a bit to create designs that delight modern mothers while retaining their hand-made appeal. 3 Marthas is all about mixing the old with the new, the practical with the beautiful, to create products that mothers will use with joy!
